BOARD MOTIONS FOR 2026 AGM

Motion 1

On 20 January 2026 Board meeting the Board unanimously recommended that from 1 January 2027 the annual membership should be £35.00. The increase, while regrettable, is justified by the falling advertising income and the increase predicted costs in operating the club and the Directors’ desire not to raise the membership fees every year. We further ask the present members, wherever possible, to pay by Direct Debit now this facility is available.



This motion is made in compliance with section 5(e) of the club rules.

Changes to ATOC Membership Rules

Motion 2

The Board requests the permission of the Auto-Trail Owners’ Club members to change the rules of the club to allow future new members to hold rolling yearly membership.

This will enable every new member to have 12 months membership upon joining and will also spread the club’s income over the full 12-month period.

Motion 3

The Board of the Auto-Trail Owners’ Club requests the permission of the membership to change the rules of the Board election for the 4 directly elected members i.e. Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer and Membership Secretary in that a minimum of 25% of the directly elected Board members will stand down at each AGM, the same minimum of 25% will also apply to the remaining Board members. No directly elected or other Board member shall serve for more than 3 terms without standing down but may stand for re-election.

Having previously changed Board election to a 3-year term instead of 2- year we need to adjust how many directly elected Board members need to retire each year.
