Have you thought about stewarding a rally?
In this current rally year we have 60 rallies hosted by just 25 rally stewards, some of these stewards are running less rallies next year, either wishing to take a step back or retiring due to ill health. This year we have 3 new stewards hosting their first rally, can you add to that tally for 2020?
If we can't encourage a few new stewards to step forward for 2020 then our rally programme will be severely depleted from the 60+ rallies we have enjoyed in previous years. All stewards need to do is  find a site negotiate a rate, take the bookings, collect the money and site the ralliers as they arrive. Anything else is up to you!
Many of you will have attended a rally and seen what a great time we have meeting old friends and making new ones along the way. You were there because of another member putting something back into the club by hosting a rally.
If you visit the club website, members area, rally stewards section you will find a couple of handy guides on what is involved in planning your first rally and some useful hints and tips. The club has access to hundreds of rally sites in both new and previously used locations with some old favourites. You can find this list on the club website

Interested? The Rally Coordinator may be able to put you in touch with an experienced Rally Steward, who would act as a mentor and have you on one or more rallies as an assistant steward for you to find out, first hand, what is involved.

If you are interested in becoming a steward or assistant steward, or have any questions please contact our Rally Coordinators, they will be very pleased to hear from you!               email - atoc.rallycoord@gmail.com
