Greece Rally Route 2021

Rally Name  ORANGE GROVE, SPAIN (Limited to 15 vans)

Location     Orange Grove Camper Park, Via Pista 65, 03580 L’Alfas del Pi, Alicante, Spain
                   www.orangegrovecamperpark.com

Start            Saturday 18 September 2021

Finish          Saturday 30 October 2021 (42 nights)

Information  Orange Grove is a small, high spec English/Spanish-owned camper park on the Costa Blanca with 35 pitches, set amongst orange and lemon groves with views of the sea and mountains, about 1 mile from Albir and about 5 miles from Benidorm. The site has a utility building with male and female toilets, washroom and showers including disabled facilities, washing machines and driers plus dishwashing facilities and an indoor laundry room. There is a central swimming pool and bar area with free wi-fi. Most pitches are serviced by water and electric supply with grey water disposal facility. Spanish LPG is available on site.
We are planning coach trips to Guadalest, a spectacular mountain-top village, plus the Algar waterfalls, bodegas, and other places of interest. There will be paellas served on site by outside caterers and we will try to hire 18-seater shuttle taxis for restaurant meals out. The pretty seaside town of Albir with its spectacular views and many promenade pavement cafés, restaurants, supermarkets and shops is a downhill walk but, if you’re tired, a taxi back for four people is quite cheap.
No upfront deposit is required but a £45 rally fee is payable with booking. The rally is dog-friendly, but please keep your pet on a lead whilst on site. Clean up is mandatory. For more info or just a chat about the rally, call Alan. Your assistant rally stewards are Alan & Julie England.

Cost            €8 per night for 42 nights. Electricity is an additional €3 per night. Site fees are payable direct to the site on arrival, a total of €336 (allow £280-£310 for exchange rate fluctuation). If you need electric add €3 per night. The £45 rally fee will go towards coaches and meals out that we book for the rally. Any surplus will be returned to members.

Booking       Send a rally booking slip with £45 rally fee to: Alan & Margaret Stewart
                     (please call for postal address).

abrummie@hotmail.co.uk or marg.stewart@hotmail.co.uk
Cheque for £45 rally fee payable to A Stewart dated 1 August 2021.

Directions    GPS N 38.58510 W 0.08381. N roads are free and mostly follow the toll roads. The toll road from Calais to the Spanish border will cost about £200. The AP-7 Spanish toll road is free.
