Information          Lichfield RUFC is situated behind the Horse & Jockey Pub, which is two miles from the town centre with its shops, eateries and the magnificent cathedral. A bus stop just outside the gates will take you there, or you can go in the opposite direction to Tamworth, which has its own castle. We have the use of the showers, and the clubhouse will be open on certain nights during the week. NO ELECTRIC except for charging buggies etc.

Directions              From the North follow A51 through Lichfield along Tamworth Road. As you pass under the A38 look out for Horse and Jockey Pub on your left. The rugby club is located behind the pub.
From the South, on A5, take A51 towards Lichfield for approx. 6 miles. After you pass Whittington Heath Golf Club look out for the Horse and Jockey Pub on your right. The rugby club is located behind the pub.

Information            Stafford Boat Club nestles in the Penk valley overlooking the wetlands in a picturesque setting on the Stafford and Worcester canal. Access to the Boat Club is in the middle of a large housing estate, well hidden from the road, and is known as Wildwood’s hidden gem. The towpath is ideal for walking or cycling. Nearby is Wildwood Park, which is good for dog walking. There is a limited bus service to Cannock and Stafford where there is plenty to see and do. Ralliers may use the clubhouse / bar in the evenings, which is also open for the boaters. Weather-permitting, it is planned to have an afternoon tea during the week and there will be a skittles night in the Clubhouse on the Saturday evening. There are no disabled pitches, but there is a ramp giving access to the clubhouse and access to a disabled toilet. There is a shower available on site. Calor gas is available from Stafford Boat Club.

Information            The air show day is on Saturday 13th July and the rally will be held on the air base. This is a great opportunity to see Royal Navy aircraft past and present from around the world as well as other UK and foreign military aircraft. You will see formation display teams as well as helicopters being put through their paces and be able to inspect a static display of aircraft and chat to the crews as well as having the opportunity to take a helicopter ride. You can visit the RNAS Service Display Hangar and hear stories about the fascinating roles of station personnel supporting our front-line squadrons. There are stalls and stands to explore should you have a spare five minutes. You will also witness aircraft arriving from all over the world on the Thursday and Friday and be able to see them practice their routines for the big day. Also on site, is the Fleet Air Arm Museum, where you will enjoy a 50% discount on the entrance fee.
All of this just a walk across the road from where we will be camping, where there is water, showers, toilets, waste disposal and a restaurant that is open all day. No EHU. There is a bus stop outside the ground should you wish to go further afield. Haynes Motor Museum is about four miles away if you wanted to visit another iconic place on the Thursday or Friday.

Information          Weymouth Rugby club is situated with easy access to the lovely town of Weymouth, bus stops and supermarkets. The Pommery Dorset Seafood Festival will be held over the weekend of 13th & 14th July and is well worth a visit. We may have use of the clubhouse on some evenings. Social events will be organised, weather permitting.
Towed cars must be left in the car park and not by the vans. The car park will be locked overnight and can be seen from the motorhomes. Fresh water and Elsan emptying point only, Toilets and showers may be available at certain times but it is not guaranteed. Buggy charging will be arranged if required. No early arrivals as stewards will be travelling from previous Wareham rally.

Information            Situated on the coast, half a mile flat walk to the centre of the village, via road or footpath through nature reserve. Access to the coast for walks / cycling. Visit Hurst Castle, originally built by Henry VIII, but developed several times since, now an exhibition centre, one mile along a level, compacted shingle bank. <>
Cliff path walk / cycle with views to Isle of Wight and Bournemouth. A range of independent shops and cafes, including chippy, plus a few pubs in the village. Buses from village green to Lymington, with pleasant harbour area, good range of shops, cafes and pubs and Saturday market. Water and toilet emptying only, no EHU except for charging at stewards’ motorhome. No flags, other than the Club flag, or tents / gazebos allowed on site.

Information            The site is within walking / cycling distance of the city centre (25 minutes’ walk, mostly flat) or bus from the site entrance. Bus also serves Amesbury / Swindon in opposite direction. Visit beautiful Salisbury Cathedral, with the tallest spire in the country and the market and wide variety of shops, cafes and pubs in the city. We can use the clubhouse / bar on site, with toilets and shower available most times during the day / evening. We hope to put on professional entertainment one night during the rally. Fish / Pie & Chips may also be available, depending on numbers. Please indicate interest on booking slip. The site is slightly sloping so levelling blocks strongly advised. EHU at stewards’ motorhome only for charging.

Information            This will be the 48th year of Hampshire’s biggest Steam & Craft Show. There will be a wide range of attractions, including steam engines, vintage cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles. There will also be a craft tent and funfair (rides are not included in the ticket price). Throughout the 3-day show there is a programme of events taking place in 2 arenas. There is also evening entertainment on Friday and Saturday featuring live bands, included in the ticket price. Further details of the show may be found on the show’s website
During the rally we intend to organise a fish & chip supper (at own cost) and a cream tea and summer punch afternoon. There is a bus stop outside the showground with buses, on Friday and Saturday, to Totton and Southampton. Dogs, on leads, are welcome at the show.

Information            This location is deep in the New Forest National Park, with fishing lake (free) and opportunities for forest walks and cycling. No shops close by, so you are advised to bring provisions for the duration. We will have a takeaway Chinese (at own cost) one evening. Water and Elsan point only, NO ELECTRIC but generator available for emergencies.

Information            The Lawns is an ideal place to relax and enjoy the countryside. A tranquil and well-maintained site with 5 excellent rally fields, it is well laid out with ample space and water points. Each rally field is bordered by trees and shrubs. The site has a fishing lake for campers’ use only (small charge), well stocked with carp and other similar types of fish. Site amenities include Chemical Disposal Point, Electric Hook up and a small toilet and shower facility.
The site is a short walk to a couple of local tearooms and garden centres. The Chestnuts Garden Centre stocks a few basic commodities. There is a bus stop within easy reach for services to King’s Lynn and Spalding and the Springfield Shopping Outlet. Refreshments will be arranged during the week and there will be an evening roast meal (at extra cost) held on site. We look forward to seeing you.

Information            This 1st time rally is being held in a very popular tourist area where you can access all the activities on offer such as: off-road cycling using your own or the hire bikes; canoeing the Wye with group leaders and return from destination by minibus; Clearwell Caves and the Speech House sculpture Park to name only a few. Also, you can just relax in the forest, enjoy the views and prepare yourself for our quizzes.
Our venue offers a flat field in the Forest of Dean with immediate access to forest walks next to the Leisure Centre with swimming pool etc. just 2 miles from Symonds Yat. Facilities include the use of showers and toilets, a social club with bar and dedicated room with skittle alley for our own use (we should have fun with that!). We are able to order meals for group bookings to have there from the resident chef’s menu if there is sufficient interest. Turn right outside the entrance to The Globe pub, serving food all day, cross the road to a well-stocked supermarket / post office / newsagent, continue back to the site and there is a good Chinese takeaway with an extensive menu.
Bus stops outside the site have regular services to Ross-on-Wye, Gloucester (with 2 Wetherspoon’s and the famous Quays) via the local towns of Coleford (which has a large Co-Op with a nice café, many other restaurants and a wide range of independent shops) and Cinderford. From Gloucester bus station there is a 10-minute service to Cheltenham and other buses to Bristol, Hereford, Ledbury and Stroud. You can’t use bus passes in Wales so, depending on numbers, we may be able to offer a coach trip for a day in Cardiff at £10 pp. We also intend to have a themed evening ‘The Swinging Sixties’, so dress up if you like!

Information      This is a “field” site but with the use of many of the club facilities.

No EHU but water is available and waste disposal area available. We have use of the kitchen area for washing.

Shower facilities available although there are only 1 bank of showers so we will allocate times for Gents and times for Ladies. There are Ladies and Gents toilets available as well

We will have the use of the fully licenced bar and concert room, which we are hoping will be open all 3 nights.  We hope to have some entertainment on the Saturday night, possibly a Ukulele concert? 

Shops are within walking distance plus a Tesco, B & M, Iceland etc etc.

There will be a delivery of Fish and Chips on Friday night (at an extra cost)  Please let us know if you will require fish and chips on the rally slip so we will have an idea of numbers. Prices will be available at the start of the rally and we will take orders on arrival.

Buses run every 15 mins from Hemsworth to the National Trust centre at Nostell Priory.(20 min trip)  Entrance to Nostell Priory is free unless you wish to look round the house or gardens, but there are lovely places to walk around etc. and visit the café, shop etc.  Please visit their website for more info.  It is also possible to cycle as it is only about 20 mins on one straight road and slightly hilly.  There is also a cycle track around Nostell Priory.

Timetables will be available at the start of the rally, plus we will have timetables for buses from Hemsworth to the City of Wakefield which also run every 15 mins (35 min trip)

Directions:        Travelling from the North on the A1, At Barnsdale Bar take the turn off left and head back over the A1.  At the end of the flyover turn left and then immediately right onto the A6201 following signs for Barnsley. At the fifth roundabout turn right onto the B6422 which takes you to Hemsworth.

Travelling from the South on the A1, Take the A638 (Junction 38) and head towards Wakefield.  At the third roundabout take the A6201 following the signs for Barnsley.  At the fifth roundabout turn right onto the B6422 which takes you to Hemsworth.

As you come through Hemsworth (Tesco on your right).   Keep to the right and at the fork in the road take the right hand turn onto Station Road.  Lowfield Road is the first right and follow that road to the end.  The Club is on your left

Information            Hoveton is adjacent to Wroxham, the heart of the Norfolk Broads. Easy access by bus or train to Norwich or Great Yarmouth and surrounding areas. Wroxham has several shops including a large supermarket. River trips to various Broads and the Bure Valley narrow gauge railway to Aylsham are also available.
During the rally there will be an opportunity to ‘Boogie on the Broads’ to Sixties music – a 3-hour evening cruise with both outdoor and indoor seating. Advance booking is required so, if interested, please send a cheque for £17.50 per person (approx. TBC) with your rally slip, payable to V Summers, NO LATER THAN 26th APRIL.

Information            The Cotswold School is within easy, flat walking distance of the centre of this much-visited and pretty village, with a good range of shops, cafes and pubs. The Cotswold Rare Breeds Park (Adam’s Farm) is a few miles away, with parking suitable for motorhomes. Buses serve Cheltenham, Stow on the Wold and Moreton in Marsh. A free and easy rally. For those interested, walks may be organised, weather permitting. Leisure Centre with indoor, heated swimming pool on site (extra charge). We plan to serve a complimentary cream tea one afternoon and serve complimentary wine with a Fish / Chicken & Chip (extra cost) meal. We will also have a cheese tasting session with complimentary wine. Fresh water & toilet emptying only. NO EHU.

Information            Typical motorhome show stands plus Western themed stalls. Western re-enactments and Western enthusiasts’ settlement village set. Country music entertainment available indoors Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday evenings – two or three acts to choose from at any one time, with line dancing tuition sessions early evening. There may be country music in the Food Court in the showground during the afternoon. Toilets and a limited number of showers available on site.
Complimentary wine and nibbles will be served at some time during the rally. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Information            Stakesby Primary School is situated in a residential area and is close to the town. Buses to Whitby bus station stop on the road next to the rally site. In town there are also bus and train connections to Robin Hood’s Bay, Scarborough and on to the North York Moors Railway. Supermarkets including Lidl, Spar, Co-op and Sainsburys are nearby. In the town, on the east side of the bridge over the River Esk, you can explore the famous Whitby Abbey, which provided the inspiration for Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Numerous small shops sell the famous Whitby Jet or you can just enjoy the atmosphere around the harbour. On the west side of the river there is an abundance of shops, restaurants and cafes.
This will be a free-and-easy rally giving you plenty of time to explore the area. We will have use of the School Hall for social get-togethers in the evenings. NO ELECTRIC but charging facilities can be made available for buggies etc. (Please note that the price increase is because the School has become an Academy and has reviewed its charges for rallies).

Directions              From Pickering follow A169 SP Whitby. Turn Right onto A171 SP Whitby. Pass garage on left hand side. Turn Left at rbt onto *B1416 SP Sandsend. Take second right onto Runswick Avenue. Continue on this road until it becomes Byland Road. Continue until you see the Rally site on the right-hand side.
From Scarborough follow A171, turning Left in Whitby but continuing on A171, SP Teesside A171 (Prospect Hill). Turn Right at rbt onto B1416, then follow route from * as above.

Information            Situated at Weybourne on the Norfolk coast, this site holds the largest private collection of military equipment in the country. If you are interested you can have a ride in some of these vehicles and possibly drive a tank. This is also Cromer Carnival week, with Wednesday being the main Carnival day. All day arena shows take place with a display by the Red Arrows and, of course, evening shows. Also nearby are the Norfolk Steam Railway and Shire Horse Centre. Open top bus from site to Sheringham and Cromer. Normal bus stop outside rally field (at the end of the road). Gates are locked at night but key is held by stewards to allow people to come and go as they wish. Please NO ARRIVALS on Wednesday.

Directions              Situated on the A149 between Salthouse & Sheringham. Ignore SatNav instructions at Holt and remain on the A148, turn left SP Sheringham and the Muckleburgh Collection (large brown sign). Turn left at rbt onto A149 and stay on this road until you arrive at the Muckleburgh Collection and then follow ATOC signs.

Information            This will be a Free and Easy Rally. The school is situated 15 minutes’ walk on flat tarmac footpath to the town of Woodstock where there are many pubs, restaurants, some shops, museums and the entrance to Blenheim Palace and bus stops. The buses run every 15 or 20 minutes to Oxford and other buses go to Chipping Norton, Witney and Burford. There is a public, heated, open-air swimming pool next to the school. We will have use of a room and toilets in the school. There will be Free Live Music in the town square on Saturday and Sunday afternoons and evenings and a Classic Car Show in Blenheim Park on Sunday and Monday. The grounds, lakes and gardens of Blenheim are fantastic, and we can arrange guided walks around the park, which can range from 1 to 7 miles, all on tarmac paths. You can visit Winston Churchill’s grave by walking across the park or a few minutes’ bus ride. Details of events will be given to you on arrival.

Directions              DO NOT try to turn down Shipton Road from the centre of Woodstock, it is very narrow with speed humps.
From South on A34, half a mile before Woodstock at Bladon rbt turn right on A4095 SP Bicester and Kirtlington. After 0.5 miles turn left into Shipton Road, school is half mile on right.
From North on A44 from Chipping Norton drive straight through Woodstock to the Bladon rbt then follow above.
From West at Bladon rbt go straight over and follow above.
From Banbury on A4260 turn right onto A4095 SP Witney and Woodstock and after 1 mile turn right into Shipton Lane.

Information            Sheffield Tigers Rugby Club is in a rural setting on the south-west edge of the city, at the gateway to the Peak District of Derbyshire. It is also about 5 miles from Sheffield City centre. Bus services pass the site entrance and will take you into nearby beautiful peak district villages or into the city centre from where you can also take a tram to the Meadowhall shopping centre. The Dore Moor Inn is about 200 metres down the road from the club.
This will be a free-and-easy rally, so you will have plenty of time to explore the surrounding countryside or city. We will have use of the club room on occasions for our social get-togethers. NO ELECTRIC but charging facilities can be made available for buggies etc.

Directions             From North, M1 J33, take A630 towards Sheffield City Centre. After dual carriageway becomes a 50 mph zone follow signs for Ring Road and Services. Turn left onto ring road A6102. Follow ring road for approx 5 miles until you come to the Meadowhead rbt. Go straight across (second exit) and immediately get into the right hand lane.
*Turn right in about 50 metres SP Castleton and Bakewell onto Greenhill Avenue. At rbt at bottom of hill, turn left onto Abbey Lane. Go straight on at T/L (continuation of Abbey Lane) until you come to a T-junction. Turn left onto A625 to Hathersage. Continue for approx 1 mile, passing the Dore Moor Inn on the right. The Club entrance is 200 metres further along on the right hand side. BEWARE of the speed humps on the site entrance road.
From South, M1 J29, take A617 SP Chesterfield. At Chesterfield rbt, take last exit and follow A61 SP Sheffield. Stay on A61 (about 8 miles) up to 4th rbt (Meadowhead). Take 1st exit left and immediately get into RH lane then follow above directions from * to Club entrance.

Information            We will be sited on hard ground alongside Llangollen canal, a pretty site and a 15-minute walk into town where you will find many eating places, shops and places of interest to visit. Ride on horse-drawn barges or ride over the aqueduct on a boat trip (or hire your own boat as a group). The aqueduct is 30 metres above the river Dee. Take a ride on the steam railway to Corwen, visit Castle Dinas Bran, Plas Newdd and grounds, Horse Shoe Pass and Chirk Castle, to mention a few. Bus from town to Wrexham and Chester. On site we have public toilets and a hall to hire for our social gatherings – we will have a cheese and wine buffet, an American supper and plenty of quizzes and competitions. There are lovely walks around the site and close by. EHU included, please bring a long extension lead if you have one.

Information            The Rugby Club is a 15-20-minute walk from the town centre. The Club is part of a large sporting complex housing the Sandilands Sports Centre, Cricket Ground and Tennis Courts. Buses and trains are readily available from the town centre. They will take you into the beautiful surrounding countryside of the Yorkshire Dales or to the famous Settle to Carlisle railway line. Or you could enjoy a day out on the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway, approximately 2 miles from Skipton.
In the town (originally named Sceap Tun meaning ‘sheep town’) there is plenty to see, including the 900-year-old Skipton Castle, Holy Trinity Church and the market place, which hosts markets 4 days per week. Canal boat cruises run every day from the Canal Wharf or you can hire your own boat. This will be a free-and-easy rally to give you plenty of time to explore this beautiful area, but we will have use of the clubroom on some evenings for social get-togethers.

Take 3rd right onto Carleton New Road, then first left onto Private Road SP Skipton Cricket Club (opposite SSD Self Drive industrial unit). Follow ATOC signs to rally site.

The starting point for our rally. We are here for 2 nights, which will give you plenty of time to explore the old and new areas of Luxembourg. Bus stop close to site. On our first day will have a meet and greet evening so you can get to know your fellow ralliers. Cheese, wine and nibbles will be served.
1st September, 3 nights Eberbach, Germany

5th September, 6 nights Zell am See, Austria

The Campsite has advised that they may need to split the group in half. I have requested that we do not want units separated, so it would be better to have groups if they are unable to be split in half. They have many winter campers arriving at the beginning of September (who are yet to book), which makes it difficult to plan, and they are unable to give guarantees.

7th September Großglockner coach tour
Enjoy a day trip to the Großglockner, including a visit to the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe visitor centre, with regular stops to take in the magnificent views along the way! Großglockner is the highest road in Europe.
9th September Eagle’s Nest and Lake Konigsee
A full day coach tour starting with a visit to Hitler’s Eagle‘s Nest, perched on top of a mountain in the Bavarian Alps. Your coach will drop you at Obersalzberg, where you meet the shuttle bus for the 20-minute journey into the Eagle‘s Nest. After an hour‘s self guided visit, you will join the shuttle bus for your retrun to Obersalzberg. Please bring a picnic with you to have nearby. Afterwards board the coach for the short journey to the town of Berchtesgaden, where you will board an electric boat for a cruise on Lake Konigsee. The lake is noted for its clear water and picturesque setting amongst the mountains. During your cruise you will see St. Bartholomä, the famous pilgrim church that can be reached only by boat or hiking.
11th September, 5 nights Krun, Bavaria
A beautiful site, close to the town of Mittenwald, which is amid the Alpine peaks of Bavaria, Germany. It's known for its colourful painted houses and its violin-making history, documented in the central Geigenbaumuseum. The 18th-century St. Peter and St. Paul Church is famed for its colourful frescoes. Garmisch-Partenkirchen is also close by and is a German ski resort, formed when two towns united in 1935. It's a prominent destination for skiing and ice skating as well as hiking. The town lies near the Zugspitze, Germany's highest peak, with a 2,962m summit, accessed by cogwheel train and cable car.
We will also have a day trip to Innsbruck with an English-speaking guide during our stay.
16th September, 3 nights Augsburg
Our rally ends in Augsburg, an ancient town on the Romantic Road. The romantic road in Germany is one of the oldest touring roads in the world! Built after World War II as a means of attracting visitors to the country, this self-drive adventure takes you back in time, where cathedrals had gothic spires, castles were nestled into mountainsides, and the countryside was so lush and green, you'll think you are driving through a fairy-tale You will journey along Germany's acclaimed Romantic Road, visiting quaint Bavarian villages and experience Germany's distinctive culture!
Farewell meal in the campsite restaurant.

Browse around all the many used and new motorhomes on site. Bistro serves breakfast and lunches. Large accessory shop offers 10% discount on purchases made during the rally. Free Wi-Fi on site. Bus stop 10-minutes’ walk from the site takes you into Newark town centre. We have the use of a room for one night where you will be served a cold buffet and a glass of wine. Please note towing cars and trailers will need to be parked on Brownhills’ general car park (Brownhills’ rule). PLEASE ARRIVE WITH WATER IN YOUR TANK TO START YOU OFF, ALL FILL UPS BY CONTAINER ONLY. No electric, no early arrivals please. Book early as this is a good rally before Lincoln Show.

Information            Yelloh Village is an outstanding site, situated on the beautiful Algarve coastline, close to the resort of Praia de Luz, 1.5 miles away. During the rally there will be three meals at own cost:
Welcome Meal; another meal at the campsite restaurant in the middle of the rally and a Farewell Dinner.
The rally price includes transport to the ‘away’ meals and the following excursions:
Coach tour to Silves, the former capital of the Algarve, which will include a guided tour of the castle, free time for lunch and, in the afternoon, the trip will continue to a winery for wine tasting and tapas.
Guided tour of Loule, then travel to Faro, a pre-Roman town, where you will have time for lunch and a guided tour of the historic centre of the city, with free time to explore.
Coach trip to Seville, the administrative capital of Andalusia, including a guided tour of Alcazar de Seville. There will be free time for lunch and exploring the city, followed by a tour of the Flamenco Dance Museum and a Flamenco show.
Boat trip to the Benagil Caves - unfortunately whether the boat can go into the caves is dependent on weather / sea conditions. Afterwards there will be free time in Albufeira for lunch and shopping before returning to the campsite.
Day excursion to Sagres and Portimao with a guided tour of the fortress of Sagres and a visit to Cape St Vincent, the most southwesterly point of Portugal. We will continue to Portimao for lunch (included).
We will also hold various activities during the rally, for example: boules, whist drive, quiz, beetle drive, coffee morning, communal BBQ and / or bring and share lunch etc. Depending on the views of those attending, a raffle may be held as well at the final coffee morning.
The return ferry from Dover to Calais is included in the cost of the rally plus 28 nights stay at Turiscampo.


Cost                     The price is £1349 per motorhome up to 10 metres for the whole rally (based on 50 people attending)
