The other rallies are provisional (except 25th Anniversary Rally) and are posted here as an invitation for you to contact the Rally Stewards to register an interest.

This is to gauge if the rally is viable or not. (Scotland & Scandinavia) 


Anniversary Rally

PRESS RELEASE 13th  May 2017


The Auto Trail Owners’ Club is pleased to announce the Club’s 25th Anniversary rally will take place at Doncaster Racecourse between 19th -23rd April 2018.


It will incorporate a Factory visit on the Saturday and three nights of fun and entertainment.


There will be satellite rallies held before and after the event to justify travelling for this major milestone in the Club’s history.


Bookings will commence at the AGM rally held at Cheltenham Racecourse 9th to 13th November 2017 and will be advertised in the 2018 Rally Book.


Further announcements will be made via the Club’s quarterly magazine and website.

SCOTLAND REVISITED (Limited to 25 vans) 2018

In response to numerous requests we are doing our Scottish Rally again. 

We will be staying at

Waterfoot Park, Ullswater

Lomond Woods, Balloch
Oban Caravan Park, Oban
Glen Nevis Park, 
Fort William 

Skye 3C’s site, Greshornish

Broomfield Holiday Park, Ullapool

Sango Sands, Durness

John O’Groats Caravan Park

Fortrose Bay Campsite, Fortrose

Huntly Park Caravan Park, Huntly

Faskally Caravan Park, Pitlochry

Falkirk Wheel

Moffat 3C’s site, Hammerlands

Also included in the price will be a steam trip on Ullswater, a gondola trip up on Ben Nevis, a coach trip to see the south of Skye and a barge trip on the Falkirk Wheel.

All these sites have been personally inspected by Barb and Tony. All 13 sites include EHU except Falkirk. You will have plenty of time to explore the area as you travel from site to site. It is planned for us to have 3 ‘together’ meals during the rally (additional cost).

The total cost in 2017 was £750 to include all site fees and the various trips. There may be a small increase on the 2018 prices.

              MAY21st to JUNE 21st 2018



We are planning a tour/rally of Scandinavia in May/June 2018. Provisional dates are May 21st meeting in Cologne and ending on 21st June in Hamburg.

The tour will cover approximately 2500 miles and will consist of 16 (TBC) stops of between one and four nights. All stops will be on commercial sites recommended by Alan Rogers, our tour operator. The tour will be resricted to 20 motorhomes. (Sorry, no pets)

We are still in the early planning stages and feel that we need to know the expected level of interest before we spend any more time planning this spectacular event.

We will be taking a list of interested parties. The list is only to gauge the level of interest and there is no commitment to attend this tour. Subject to sufficient interest we will place instructions on how to book the tour in the Autumn edition of the club magazine.

The initial itineray is shown below. Additional excursions WILL BE ADDED once we know the tour has sufficient interest to make it viable.

21st May; Koln Meet at either Campintg Stadt Koln, or Camping Berger. Both sites offer easy access to the city by bus or tram. Welcome meet and great meal.

22nd May; Overnight stop at Breman, Hanse Camping

23rd/24th May; A 2 night stop at Kolding. An 8 minute bus ride from the town where the main attraction is Castle Koldinghus. Coach trip to the Ribe Viking Centre.

25th/26th May; Aalborg, Strandparken Camping. A 30 minute walk to the centre of Asalborg - The Little City of the North.

27th/28th May; Skagen Camping. 1km from the town and shops. More details TBC

29th May; Ferry from Frederikshavn to Gothenberg 3.35 hours.

29th May to 2nd June; Gothenberg, Lisebergsbyn Karrulund. Possible excursions to include walking tour of Gothenberg, Guided boat tour, Boat trip to the Southern Archipelago

2nd/3rd June; Orebo, Camping Tiveden, Located on the shores of Lake Unden

4th June to 8th June, Stockholm, Bredland Camping. A busy city with the site close at hand. A 5 minute walk to the tube station. Shops close by. Lake Malaren and beach 2 minutes walk away. Possible excursions, Stockholm guided walking tour, Visit to the Vasa Museum; the Vasa is the only 17th Century preserved ship in the world and 95% original.

8th/9th June; Soderkoping, Skeppsdockans Camping TBC. Medievil City with narrow lanes. St Anna Archipelago boat trips, Gota Canal.

10th/11th June Lovsjobadens Camping. Lakeside campsite. Day trip to Jonkoping and Lake Vattern, the largest lake in Sweden.

12th/13th June; Helsinborg, Raa Valla Campsite. Walking tour of Helsingborg, Whale watching trip, Soderasen National Park, guided walk around the lake and to the top of the ridge to view the Skane countryside, BREATHTAKING VIEWS! Coach trip to Sofiero Palace and Gardens.

14th to 18th June Copenhagen, Camping Charlottenlund Fort. TBC. Carlsberg Tour and meal, Kronborg Castle (Hamlet). Evening meal, Frederiksborg Castle and Museum visit.

18th June; Ferry from Ropdbyhavn to Puttgarden (45 minutes) Camping Puttgarden

19th/20th June TBC

21st June; Hamburg TBC

The dates above are all provisional. An extra location may be added or an extra night at a couple of the locations.

The cost for the tour including ALL ferry crossings (Dover-Calias, Frederikshavn-Gothenberg, Oresund Brdge toll, Rodbyhavn-Puttgarden) 16 (TBC) campsite fees, 2 evening meals. 3 excurisions (shown above).

More excursions/meals WILL be added, will not exceed £2500 per couple.
